2. Present progressive
O The present progressive is formed by
combining the verb "to be" with the
present participle. (The present participle
is merely the "-ing" form of a verb.)

O I am studying.

5. Past progressive
O expresses activities occurring at some
point in the past and continue later.
O Expresses discontinued operations per
share expressed shorter.

6. O While she was preparing dinner, he was
washing the dishes.

7. Be going to
O be going to form is very similar to the
Future Simple. Both forms can express
prediction, however those predictions are
not the same.
