CAREER HISTORY/ PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
(I) Site Geologist/Drilling Supervisor, Stelog Limited( Jan 2010-Till date).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of some company’s operational geologist I was responsible for all
geology and geologically related administrative well site activity.
Responsible for determination, description of lithology and interpretation of
oil and gas shows by Utilizing mud log and logging while drilling (LWD) I
gave advice on Casing point, Coring point and Total Depth respectively. I
Performed correlation with offset Wells using mud logging master-log, and
LWD logs (Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Bulk density and Neutron porosity),
compiled reports and advised on risk-free and cost effective suggestions to
promote QA and QC standard of the operator’s company.
I was involved in quick look Wire-line logs interpretation to delineate
reservoir rocks from non reservoir rocks, determine Hydrocarbon bearing
formation from water bearing formation, determine oil, gas and water
contact, evaluate porosity, water Resistivity and hydrocarbon saturation.
I was the source of all operational geologic information, most of the time
communicate directly with operator’s management.
I was also involved in preparation of composite log by integration of mud
