3. DEFINATION Corruption is an act of dishonesty of transferring a benefit to an individual who may or may not be entitled to it, in exchange for an illegal payment or gain or benefit.

4. Looking at corruption through virtue ethics perspective. The road to fight corruption in Kenya is narrow and unless we adopt virtue ethics in us, the fight will be useless.

5. To fight corruption, we should start at the grass root level where most people are stripped of the virtues that go with integrity. Corruption has been regarded as a normal occurrence by many people in the society, yet it is a vice. People lack integrity such as honesty, respect and love.

6. Corruption mainly occurs in public offices. Public officers should: Promote ethics in their organizations. Be dedicated to public interest. Defend the integrity of public offices. Accept individual responsibility of their actions and the consequences of their actions.
