  • 2. My Philosophy Create a learning environment that provides students the opportunity to develop an understanding/curiosity of how academics and good character can have a positive impact on themselves, their peers, and the global community.
  • 3. What to Expect in Fourth Grade Development of self-responsibility Applying their knowledge Prepare for Middle School and beyond They won’t have all this perfected by the end of the year.

  • 5. Character Education The 6 pillars of Character Counts are taught through group activities, modeling, and discussions. Self-Motivation and intrinsic reward Popcorn jar R.A.P. form
  • 7. Homework Read for an estimated 20 minutes a night (signature & min.) Practice math facts 5-10 minutes a night 40-50 minutes a night. This can fluctuate depending on projects and assignments.

  • 26. What You Can Do Please contact me if you notice a change in your child or that something may be impacting their learning. Practice Math Facts online or with flash cards Take a quick moment each night to make sure that what is in their assignment notebook is completed and write down their minutes. Make sure kids have all school supplies (rulers, calculators, protractors, etc.)
