ALA Annual Conference 2011
Saturday, June 25, 4-5:30, MCC 285
What does it mean to mediate learning in an untethered society? Emerging technologies open doors to exciting opportunities, but as an end in themselves can put us at risk of losing sight of strategic priorities. Whether implicit or explicit, the dual role of the librarian as information professional and as teacher affords us unique insight into our communities’ needs. Panelists will discuss the possibilities and pitfalls inherent in various aspects of mobile learning.
