8. Lyles has steadily improved in all areas of the STaR Chart each
year. We are well on our way to reachingTarget Status.
TheTeaching/Learning category area is the only area that has
had the slowest growth. One way to try and increase that
growth are as follows:
 Incorporate projects to generate student presentations
 Use online book resources as follow-up lessons
 Take advantage of Plato and Study Island resources to aid
with tutorials and individual student progress.

9. Campuses and districts can use the results to help identify
current technology status and plan for future goals.
The Texas Campus STaR Chart helps schools identify educational technology
Needs when applying for grants
Education administrators can use the data to determine where to allocate funds
Measure the progress of student/teacher integration of technology
