Lauren Wire was a 2011 spring/summer intern at 5W Public Relations; doing this for course
credit. She worked three/four days a week since May 3, 2011 in our Consumer division.
Throughout the course of her internship, Lauren’s proactive attitude and willingness to learn
were greatly appreciated in our internship program.
From administrative responsibilities to creative pitch writing, her ability to prioritize her work
and manage her time stood out to the entire team he worked for. Lauren is intelligent, capable,
and extremely personable. She was always quick on her feet, with sensible reactions in all the
circumstances that I have seen her in. I feel confident in saying that she is capable of handling
any situation with thoughtfulness and maturity.
Here at 5W Public Relations, we have a program where interns gain public relations experience
and assist with various PR projects, events and media efforts. For our interns, we focus on core
topics including but not limited to media/news monitoring, pitch writing, list building and
administration tasks.
