It’s a facet within LinkedIn Recruiter.
Update Me is a feature that allows Recruiter users to be informed about
changes to a prospect. Changes include a public profile updates by the
LinkedIn member.

Stay up-to-date on candidates activity.
Update Me lets Corporate Recruiter users receive automated updates to
any changes made to the public profile of a candidate they are tracking.
This keeps the recruiter apprised of a lead’s activity and career progress,
which could help the recruiter turn a cold lead into a warm prospect.

4. How does Update Me work?
There is an “Update Me” button located in the candidate profile.
If a recruiter would like updates on a potential candidate, they can
click on the “Update Me” button.

A recruiter can stop receiving updates by clicking on the
“Stop Updates” button either on the profile or profile list.

11 profile criteria changes.
Recruiters will see updates on changes made by a prospect that he/she is
following. Those changes include: Industry, Headline, Experience,
Education, Summary, Skill, Patent, Phone Number, Honors, Website, and
