Project 1: Synsam – AX 7.0 implementation and upgrade to Dynamics 365 for
operations
Role Functional Consultant
Client: Microsoft
Location: Hyderabad
Period: Mar 2016 - Till Date
Description: My current assignment as Functional Consultant is for client Synsam which
involves Retail, Retail POS, Trade & Logistics and Finance in MS dynamics
AX 7.0. The optical retailer which has a dominant presence in the Nordic
regions is implementing AX 7.0 to optimizeonline business as well as brick
and motor stores. Several integrations are involved with third party
interfaces for inbound and outbound data transfer.
Contribution  Retail:
Working on retail stores, transactions and statements using LPOS
and CPOS.
 Finance:
Customization on split VAT functionality related to various
modules in finance. Automatic free text invoice creation based on
site and franchise stores.
 Inventory:
Automatic movement and courting journals creation based on
retail store and inventory data which includes automatic reversal
of inventory.
 Product information management:
Additional features of products using category hierarchy is
implemented. A new concept of consignment stock items is being
implemented.
Data management is a vital ingredient in the current implementation.
