4. The largest division of the brain. It is divided into two hemispheres, each of which is divided into four lobes.Cerebrum Cerebellum

5. Cerebral Cortex - The outermost layer of gray matter making up the superficial aspect of the cerebrum. Cerebral Cortex

7. Sulci – Small grooves dividing the gyri

8. Central Sulcus– Divides the Frontal Lobe from the Parietal Lobe

9. Fissures – Deep grooves, generally dividing large regions/lobes of the brain

10. Longitudinal Fissure – Divides the two Cerebral Hemispheres

11. Transverse Fissure – Separates the Cerebrum from the Cerebellum

18. Our brain fully developed at the age of 18.

19. At the birth our brain weight is 350-400g while A developed brain contains about 1300-1400g.

21. The human brain has about 100,000,000,000 (100 billion) neurons while A octopus brain has about 300 million neurons.

22. If proper blood supply stopped in brain then Unconsciousness will occur after 8-10 seconds.

23. The weight of an adult human cerebellum is 150 g.

24. Our brain can alive without oxygen for 4 to 6 minute after that cells begin die.

25. The energy used by the brain is enough to light a 25 watt bulb.
