3. Introduction
Kan Ajak School Is a Brainchild
Of Aheu Dit Women Group
• The school runs an early
child education program
• and a formal primary school
which goes up to grade five
Since its establishment five
years ago the school has
received more children every
year, with a big number of
returnee children joining the
school.

The children in this school
are using the south
Sudanese curriculum the
subjects includes
Mathematics
CRE
English
Social science
Agriculture
Dinka Language
6. Child right club
The child right club is the first
to be introduce to kan ajak
primary school, it is mainly
teaching the children of there
rights.
They are also involved in
sports activities
7. Bloomtrigger
The volunteers so the
need to look for
activities that can
help the children with
there study and
schooling .
Bloomtrigger project
came at the right
moment and we
embraced it.

Fuel from waste is
also an active
club, with the
children mostly
involved in
collection of their
own waste at the
school .

What is it like for the
children to study at
the school?
For the children it is
fun to come to school
despite hardships

At which age do they finish
school?
People here complete
school at different
ages those who could
not attend to school
earlier are now in
school despite an
advanced age.

Do they have to walk
far to get to school?
The children have to
travel both short and
long distances.
But for the younger
children if no school is
within reach in their
area, then they are
not allowed to attend
especially girls.

And can they get jobs after
school?
Getting a job in south
Sudan is still an issue, with
the government being the
largest employer-
especially in the army. Non
governmental
organizational employ a
majority of youth but
qualification standard are
sometimes to high for the
locally educated students.
13. What things do the children want most in life?
• The children here want books and other
learning materials which are availed by
UNICEF but is not adequate
• After seeing what a a laptop can do, it is their
wish that they will be able learn working with
computers.
• Other needs for furniture and other
equipment's
