Born in Asia’s barren steppes,
Temujin, the young chieftain,
United the Mongol tribes,
And took the name Genghis Khan

Leader of the Mongol people
With an amazing cavalry and iron discipline,
They conquered all who gave them trouble.

They were expert archers
With arrows that surely killed
They captured their captives but did not torture
The Mongols were extremely skilled

Genghis established such an ordinance,
That replaced tradition
It enforced loyalty and sub ordinance
And promised religious freedom.
