o   Shame (verb) to cause to feel shame; make ashamed
o   Shame (noun) the painful feeling arising from the
    consciousness of something dishonorable, improper,
    ridiculous, etc., done by oneself or another
o   Authorities have suggested that public shaming (shame
    punishment) might be a stronger deterrent to school age
    misbehavior than more traditional punishments such as
    detention, suspension or financial compensation.
o   Do you think shame punishment is an appropriate
    consequence for negative behavior?
o   Are there instances in which shame punishment could be a
    useful device for modifying behavior?
o   Situations for which it would not?
o   Would it work in schools? Why or why not?
