2. Regular Trash
The regular trash is for any waste items
that cannot be recycled, including:
• Styrofoam containers
• Napkins, tissues, Saniwipes
• Used gloves and other PPE
• Plastic “grocery” and garbage bags

3. CINTAS Shred Bin
The CINTAS shred bin is for most
kinds of paper, including:
• White and colored office paper
• Glossy paper and magazines
• Folders

4. The commingled recycling container is for
all non-paper recyclable materials,
including:
• Glass
• Plastic with a recycling number 1-7
• Plastic wrap (including IV fluid
wrappers)
• Aluminum and steel
• Chipboard (or paperboard)
• Newspaper

5. Commingled?
Commingled is another word for “mixed” or “blended”.
Commingled recycling means collecting recyclable materials in a
mixed group, rather than separating them.
Commingled recycling is easy to do, since plastic containers, glass
bottles, metal cans and newspapers all go in the same receptacle!

6. What is a recycling number?
Almost all plastic containers will have Plastic Recycling Numbers
an embossed recycling number. This
number indicates the type of plastic in
the container. Often it is found on the
bottom of the container.
Almost all plastic is recyclable in the
blue commingled recycling bin, so
do not worry if you cannot find the
number.
