This WebQuest deals with celebrations around the world. Four of the most known celebrations will be compared and contrasted so that in the end the students could create their own celebration.
1. WEBQUEST
“Traditions around the World”
INTRODUCTION:
There are some traditions and celebrations which are common and celebrated in most of the countries in some specific dates.
However, costumes, clothes, dances, and typical activities vary from one country to another. To illustrate the foregoing, one may
wonder if Chile and the USA share the same practices to celebrate Christmas. What about the New Year’s celebrations between
Japan and Mexico? Well, now you have the opportunity to research about celebrations around the world.
Then, can you think in a special celebration for you? Which would be the most important elements of this celebration?
Now, you can create your own special celebration. You will choose the date, the reason and the most important elements.
