The document summarizes water quality testing done at the Laxman Doongri water treatment plant in 2001. Water samples were collected from three sampling points for six days across three seasons. Testing found high levels of total dissolved solids, hardness, alkalinity, calcium and magnesium relative to BIS drinking water standards. Graphs show the average levels of these parameters exceeded the red line for maximum limits. No bacteriological parameters were tested at the treatment level.

2.  In 2001, NEERI collected water samples from the Laxman Doongri
water treatment plant of the city.
 Samples were collected for 6 days for three seasons ( summer,
winter, monsoon).
 The sampling points were- CWR-1, CWR-2 and CWR-3.
 Testing of physio- chemical parameters as mentioned in BIS:10500
were carried out.
 No bacteriological parameter was tested at treatment level.

3.  The samples were found to have high concentration of TDS,
hardness, alkalinity, Ca and Mg.
 In the subsequent slides graphs of the average levels of the above
mentioned parameters are shown.
 The red line indicates the maximum limit of the parameters as given
in BIS:10500 drinking water standards.
