information or ideas”.
Examples:
14 August is Independence Day.
Green is my favorite color.
Hassan is absent today.
The concert begins in two hour.
6. IMPERATIVE SENTENCES:
“Imperative Sentences issue commands or request or
they can express a desire or wish”.
Examples:
Please keep quite.
Get out.
Respond immediately.
7. EXCLAMATORY SENTENCES:
“An exclamatory sentence expresses strong
feelings”.
Example:
o Alas! We lose the match.
o Wow! What a great short.
o Hura! Today is last paper.
8. INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES
“Interrogative sentences are also easy to spot. That’s
because they always ask a question and end in a question
mark”.
Example:
Is it snowing?
Have you had breakfast?
Do you want Coke or Pepsi?
Who are you taking to the prom?
You like Pakistani food, don’t you?
