This document is an academic journal article that proposes a new modified form of the extended Ziman-Faber theory for calculating the electrical resistivity and diffusion thermopower of liquid and amorphous binary alloys. The article derives the mathematical formulas for the new theory and applies it to calculate the resistivity and thermopower of an Fe2B metallic glass alloy. The results are found to be in fair agreement with known experimental and theoretical values, indicating the modified theory can be successfully applied to similar systems.
