This technical briefing summarizes radiological data from Japan following the Fukushima nuclear accident. It provides gamma dose rates and airborne radionuclide concentration measurements taken in Tokyo from March 15-19. It also reports measurements of radionuclides found in foodstuffs and water from areas near the Fukushima plant, including measurements of milk from Kawamata and leafy vegetables from Ibaraki prefecture. Additionally, it includes guidelines for radionuclide levels in internationally traded foods from the CODEX ALIMENTARIUS COMMISSION.
