This is an update on the conceptual development of the College of Design + Engineering + Commerce. This work was influenced by input from Steve Spinelli, President of Philadelphia University, Randy Swearer, Provost of Philadelphia University, DR Widder, Executive Director of University Innovation, and Gwynne Keathly, Vice Provost of Philadelphia University among many other contributors too numerous to list. Thank you

A development process, often referred to as a design process involves going through steps of observations and research to understand the critical factors, creation of the problem parameters and ideation, prototyping, refining solutions, and testing concepts and then ending with the final executable solution. On the tangible side of things these are really phases of probing, defining, and solving. On the abstract and holistic side the process should including synthesizing information into frameworks and strategies. It is important to distinguish between the two as one is specific to the tangible contextual references of the day, the other is for frameworks with broader applications for the future scenarios that do not exist today.
I think the execution and output should be in the upper right quadrant (with frameworks and strategies – right?) And in the integration framework?
The Core DEC Framework that will be common across all programs. Due to curricular space constrictions it may be delivered differently than normal courses. Add the capstone?
