Our Learning Intentions with the integration of ICT in reading We are learning to: Our learning outcomes: ,[object Object]
Participate in discussion about the main ideas of the text.
Use Reciprocal reading skills with all reading engaged in on the computer.
Summarise in a concise and informative way.
Students make sensible predictions about the text  and clarify their predictions with supporting evidence from the text
Students increased their knowledge of  computer skills  to successfully click and drag components.
Students develop confidence to share ideas in regards to the text
Students will understand the importance of concise , but informative summarises.,[object Object]
We have read and analyzed exemplars prior to our own writings.
All of the class have been highly engaged as it is highly visual and interactive for the children with great graphics which they have created or imported from clip art to enhance their written work.
Their stories will be readily available for the children to continually edit and improve until the end product is ready.
Children can share their work easily with each other.
Children’s work can be sent home via e-mail for parental viewing.,[object Object]

  • 18. Display differences in size. Enlarging and reducing.
  • 19. Increase number knowledge and strategies for problem solving.
  • 20. Collect data and display on a data table and graph.
  • 21. Increase the speed and accuracy of basic facts and operations recall
  • 22. Measure a variety of angles accurately.
  • 23. All students participated in this activity and got to take a pictures of various shapes around the school
  • 24. Students knowledge and understanding of shapes and their attributes has increased
  • 25. Students have engaged with the activities more with the use of computer generated teaching point and increased knowledge of the topic being covered.

  • 29. Children have been given the job of taking and editing sports photos of any sports activity being held on or off our school grounds which will be publicly displayed.
  • 30. Children have been expected to take, edit and produce a comic strip or photo-story about their school camp to Ruapehu.

  • 32. Learning Intention: To build a photo story from the photo’s they had taken during their sandwich making unit.

  • 34. Students will write stories to match their pictures.
  • 35. Use Microsoft paint and increase their use of the toolbar options
  • 36. Students have been able to increase their effectiveness of using the tool bar with Microsoft paint
  • 37. Children have increased their use of colour and design in their pictures
  • 38. Children have been engaged in the activity and supported each other through out the process of using this programme.Michael Jackson died recently and he is a huge loss to the musical world. There are rumours that he was murdered by overdose of a drug. More later. By L deT

  • 40. Children have also written a story or caption to go with it. Been useful for my Special Needs children.WALT- Experiment and use a variety of art Enhancing techniques. SC- Create something new that makes their work more enjoyable to view.

  • 46. Children have enjoyed seeing the use of their own work for teaching purposes
  • 47. The children are developing a greater independence on the computer
  • 48. There is an increase of word knowledge and sentences constructions due to use of online programmes.
  • 49. There has been an increase in speed and accuracy of knowledge skills in Maths, due to the constant use of online programmes.
  • 51. Increase use of thinking questions in regards to topics covered.
  • 52. Develop the skill of discernment when searching for information
