My dream is to travel to Australia to understand better both sides of the didgeridoo, from the origins to the modern age. I want to go drink directly from the source and stay with aboriginal people in Yirrkala and work as a volunteer at the Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Art Centre, spend time with the people that make and play this instrument and learn as much as possible with them. I also want to learn and experience The Mulka Project for their great approach on rescuing traditional culture through multimedia. This is the center and main drive of my Arnhem Land visit. Without more expectations, without more plans, just be there for two weeks absorving as much as possible. Since I'm in Australia I would like to observe more about the modern approach to didgeridoo market, didgeridoo making and playing and so I am planning on of my concerts and my workshop "Making Paper Didgeridoos" at the shop DidgeridooBreath, in Perth and hopefully to spend some time with contemporary didgeridoo maker Bruce Rogers in Melbourne.
