4. FEEL
One of the first involvements of school leaders
(age11-13) was in managing the Druk School
parking zone
5. No to BG(Government) vehicles and
refuse to be brought to and fro
school in their parents government
vehicles.
6. IMAGINE
The concern was discussed in one of the Thursday
meetings and the following ideas were accepted
Note down the BG number plate vehicles and talk to
the drivers concerned about the ban.
7. Announce the number of the BG vehicle in the
morning assembly
Request students to not use the BG vehicles and
also inform their parents with regard to ban on
use of BG vehicles to pick and drop off students
8. DO
• Druk School strongly denounces the use of Government
vehicle for private use .
• Druk School soon saw a decline in the number of
Government vehicle coming to drop off the children and
finally we are proud to announce there is no more use of
BG vehicles as of now, after 18 months of implementation.
9. It’s a change Druk School initiated through FEEL from
a few student leaders who made us proud of the
action taken, guided by the GNH values.
This small action was highly appreciated by the
Chairperson of the Anti Corruption Commission.
10. SHARE
• Schools all over Bhutan can join in such a Change which
may seem like a small step but it could have a ripple
effect.
• Empowering students with good moral values and
giving them a voice to bring a change can help us in
facilitating healthy, confident and corruption free
leaders of tomorrow.
11. In the present era of transition and change in
governance, the future citizens must strengthen
the institution by not just agreeing but by putting
into practice zero tolerance against myriad forms
of corruption they see around them, after all the
voice of today becomes the leaders of tomorrow.
