Mercury 332 is a remote controlled tilting radiology table that offers tomographic functionality. It provides safety, flexibility, and excellent performance for a variety of radiological exams. The table can tilt from +90 to -90 degrees and perform tomographies in any position. It interfaces with many generator and x-ray tube options. ercury 332 is a remote controlled R/F tilting
table equipped with tomographic function,
designed according to innovative techniques
and in compliance with the tradition of solidity and
reliability of Villa Sistemi Medicali equipment.
The safety and flexibility of Mercury 332 meet all the
requirements of radiological examinations: tomography,
chest radiography, gastroenterology, gynaecology,
myelography, angiography and fluoroscopy.
Mercury 332 can be interfaced with a wide range of
generators and x-ray tubes, thus ensuring excellent
performance in all applications.
Mercury 332 is available in two different versions.
The first is equipped with electronic serial changer
and is able to meet all the requirements of
conventional radiography examinations, including
tomography, fluoroscopy and digital radiology.
The second version is designed to meet
the requirements of digital radiology
examinations. It can be equipped
with image intensifiers up to 40 cm
(16 inches) and with the DIVA
digital imaging system.

4. Mercury 332 owes its versatility to:
• complete table rotation from vertical (+90°) to
trendelemburg (-90°) position, allowing to perform even
the most sophisticated tests (such as myelography).
• flat table top, which can be moved in all four
directions.
• tomography operations allowed in every position
between +90° and -90°, with two performance speeds
for 4 different angles and automatic tomographic layer
adjustment according to the selected angle.
Patient comfort and safety are ensured by an innovative
movement control system, resorting to complex software
algorythms for column angulation and table tilt.
Other software algorythms are used to prevent floor and
wall impact of the table in all operational combinations.
Patient and operator safety is guaranteed on a single-fault
basis.
Mercury 332 bears the CE mark and is in full compliance
with IEC safety regulations on electromagnetic compatibility.
Mercury 332 can perform tomographic
examinations in all positions.

6. In Mercury 332 every detail has been carefully designed
with a view to improving the effectiveness and productivity
of diagnostic service through complete performance and
user friendliness.
Switching from standard radiography mode to tomography
mode is a simple and fast operation; tomographic examinations can also be performed in digital mode.
The collimator is completely computerized and provided
with a cassette - or iris - shaped opening. It is equipped with
a “hold” function, allowing to keep the most suitable
collimation during the whole fluoroscopic examination.
The serial changer is also completely computerized and
is compatible with 19 cassette formats in centimeters and
12 formats in inches, with a wide range of subdivisions.
Mercury 332 control desk combines
user-friendliness and full range of functions.
The control desk is extremely simple and user-friendly
and ensures performance of all positioning operations
in the easiest and most effective way. Moreover, it allows
detection of possible alarm or fault conditions.
More handy and rapid control of all functions is ensured
by the duplication of controls on the table itself.
During installation, specific programs allow input of
system and environment data into the computer memory,
thus ensuring full effectiveness in a wide variety of situations.
Fault self-detection programs, which can be controlled and
managed from the control desk, simplify and speed up all
maintenence procedures.
