Servicemen Quota. Eligible candidates can send applications in the prescribed format on or
before 08-07-2013 by 17.00 hrs and 22-07-2013 by 17.00 hrs for remote areas. More details

RRC Chennai Vacancy details:
Total No. of Vacancies: 813
Name of the Post: Erstwhile Group D (Ex-Servicemen Quota)
Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 18-33 years as on 01-07-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per
the rules. Refer notification for category wise age limit.
Eligibility Criteria: Ex-Servicemen who has retired after putting in 15 years of service and has
passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent will be considered eligible.
Selection Process: The recruitment shall be on the basis of scrutiny of applications and the Ex-
Servicemen should be medically fit for the job being considered for. The panel will be formed
primarily on the basis of Ex-Servicemen’s length of Military Service.
How to Apply: Interested candidates must send applications in the prescribed format along with
self attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, Discharge Certificate, Community
Certificate, one passport size photograph affixed enclosed in an envelope super scribed with
“Application for Recruitment against Ex-Servicemen Quota” so as to reach The Assistant
Personnel Officer/ Recruitment, Railway Recruitment Cell, Southern Railway, III Floor, No.5,
Dr.P.V.Cherian Crescent Road, Egmore, Chennai-600008 through post or can also be directly
dropped in the box kept in the Office premises of RRC, Chennai at above mentioned address on
or before 08-07-2013 by 17.00 hrs and 22-07-2013 by 17.00 hrs for remote areas.
