In summarized form SYPHER is a third party service company. This
report will begin with a brief introduction and history of SYPHER.
Actually this company is established with the mission to provide the
highest quality services to their customers. In my report I have explained
about the company information and range of both products and services
offered by the SYPHER. I spent my golden time in this company. I
worked there in different departments like worked with merchandisers
and quality inspection team also. I am so glad that I spent my time for
apply my knowledge and to improve & clear my concepts and
interpersonal skills. The main thing that I found in this firm is cooperative
and hardworking staffs that always help me whenever I have any query
about any matter. I liked outdoor work with quality inspection team. Gain
lot of knowledge through this. Even improved my communication skills.
Overall it was totally a wonderful experience for me to work with
professionals and learn lot of things from them.

Online inspections focus on selected samples of customer product during the
manufacturing process. Utilizing SYPHER's production order control services
increases quality, timeliness, and consistency. SYPHER provide you with the
updated information, you need to make sound decisions. This confirms the quality of
your goods allowing you necessary changes to be addressed early.

PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION:
SYPHER inspects your primary manufacturers at the production site. By performing
inspections before the goods are shipped, companies are able to identify problems
early. Inspections save money and ensure that the product meets your customers'
requirements and expectations. A consistent inspection program also reduces
warranty costs, losses in productivity, and time involved in shipping products back to
the factory.
Final Random Inspection
During a pre-shipment inspection, an Acceptable Quality Level sampling plan
is used for inspections following the production and packing of goods.
SYPHER Quality Controllers verify that finished goods have been made up to
buyers specifications.
Piece to Piece Inspection
The final inspection can be conducted on piece to piece basis i.e. 100%

During a Social Accountability evaluation, SYPHER investigates to work environment

34. Production Monitoring and Online Quality Controls:
SYPHER Quality Managers ensure quality control at each and every stage of
production. We follow a system of updating its customers through digital
photographs at various stages of production. We also ensure pre-Production
samples and production samples to update customer of their production.
· On-Schedule Delivery:
SYPHER understand that timely delivery is important for their buyers. With their
system of online order monitoring, they are always up-to-date at every stage of
production. Any expected delays are immediately communicated to the customer.
· Final Inspections:
A final inspection is conducted upon completion, when orders are fully packed.
These inspections are normally conducted at MIL-STD-103E, ANSI1.4, normally
known as AQL standard. A comprehensive Inspection report detailing complete
specifications, faults found with digital pictures is prepared and presented to
customer.

37. STRENGTHS:
SYPHER is working as a HUB between customer and the factory so they maintained
very good relation with their customer and factory. SYPHER done multiple product
sourcing under one platform. They are customer oriented, Hi fashion items with a
wide variety of value additions. Customer can customize its garment in any way.
SYPHER has competent, capable, sincere and honest set up. SYPHER staff
members are well educated and having SKILLS. SYPHER also provide guided
factory visits, if necessary to their valued customers.
Weaknesses:
Internet is considered as a weakness but not at major level. It lies in minor level.
Secondly the SYPHER doesn’t have its own transport for their Quality team although
it is arranged by the factories but SYPHER should also have their special transport in
emergency case.
Threats:
In services field there is no big threat because threats are mainly faced by
manufacturing house like Nishat, Pensi, cotton web etc they have the threat of
competitors. In our field all the things are clearly mentioned in the written form and

Communication can become a threat for SYPHER because they only have to
deal with international customers so merchandisers must fluent in language to
easily solve the queries of customers.

38. As SYPHER deals with the garments and power failure in Pakistan is very common
due to which many factories moves or shifts their businesses to other economical
countries. So government should reduce power failure. SYPHER should increase
their business by capture more customers from other countries and do direct deal
with them so in this way they can easily increase their output profit.

SYPHER accommodate only international companies. SYPHER has its
second/partner office working in ITALY. They used electronic media means
advertisement through E-mails.

40. Learning as a student intern
Tasks during internship
I have done number of tasks during my internship period. Here is the list of the
tasks below:
Read the literature of the company:
I read all the literature of the company which helped me to know what company is all
about and what products they are offering.
Online communication:
I checked their all online communication in the form of chatting and email to
better understand what’s going there.
Record maintenance:
Maintained their record accordingly. 50% of my understanding was done
through this record keeping.
Visits:
Visits different factories e.g., Nishat, Cotton Web, Azgard-9 to understand the
work practically.
Meeting with customers:
Meet with foreign customers Mr. Ricardo and Mr. Velerio learnt a lot from them.
Analyze my communication skills.
Quality management:
Visited cotton web with quality management team to do the final audit. I really
enjoyed that work.
SWOT analysis:
Then afterwards I did a SWOT analysis in the company which was very helpful
for me to understand the company’s performance.

41. Problems encountered:
There were number of problem I faced during my internship program as an internee
are
The first problem was the change of the environment. In the beginning it was
difficult for me to understand the environment of the organization but later on I
understand it. In first week I faced many problems because I was new there
and I felt hesitation while talking to anyone but later on I found that everyone
is friendly there and easy to talk with and they considered me as the part of
the organization.
The second and the most irritating problem for me was the hectic routine and
the timings of the office
Mainly the knowledge we acquire from book is totally different from what we
do or face in the organization. So I felt difficulty in understanding the things as
they were different form the bookish knowledge. Because in books we learn
theories and formulas but we don’t apply those theories because we don’t
have that practical situation. This was another hurdle.

42. Internship Impact:
By doing internship of 6 weeks from July 9th, 2012 to August 17th, 2012 at SYPHER.
I have learnt lots of practical work and have got experience of doing work in practical
field which is totally different as working the practical organization. By doing
internship I got the knowledge of the corporate world that how they work and how
they compete. I have learn time managed and understood what responsibility is from
this internship I can decide that how I can improve my working stamina.
The main thing which I noticed is that by doing this I get knowledge and confidence
which is far different from the knowledge and confidence we get in our university.
At the end I really enjoyed a lot. Learnt many things.
