2. I Don't Know When Our Engineers Will Wake Up for
Their Rights. Engineering Profession has badly
destroyed in Pakistan. Thousands of graduates are
passing out every Year with least opportunity of jobs.
Private Universities has made it Joke to award a
Engineering Degree Specially in the field of Electrical
Engineering . After Spending a million of rupee & wasting
16 years of life to become an engineer there are no jobs.
Engineers are doing jobs in primary schools . The
education department mentions the requirement of B.Sc.
Engineering for the posts of BPS-9 with shameful salary
structure.
3. If PEC Claims that its only regulatory body & they have no
concern with the jobs of engineers then its also the
responsibility of PEC to uplift the Ranking of Engineering
Institutions. What is the ranking of our Engineering
Institution World Wide or Even in Asian Countries. What
is our level of research ? There is criminal role of PEC by
giving accreditation to so many programs. Am not
exaggerating If private Universities will enroll the
students having 50% marks in intermediate & a batch of
200 students will pass out twice in a year in single
discipline then what will be outcome of our profession.
Am not going to compare Pakistan with USA, UK or any
other European country. Can we compare our self with
developing countries like India or China?
4. PEC Should take the steps to invest on higher education of
engineers, Research and development programs,
Collaborate with the international Universities on
exchange programs & scholarships, Creating the Jobs
Opportunities.
Can we ask?
Where are Paid Internships?
Service Structure of Engineers ?
Engineers Head in Engineering Organizations?
Subsidy on various items for Engineers having PEC
Cards?
5. Supervisory license that nobody is ready to take on 10k.?
Its a humble request to PEC Chairman to make a rough
estimate of Engineers/ Jobs Ratio & stop giving
accreditation to every private university that has made
their business & exploiting the engineering profession.
If we will remain in comfort zone & will not come on roads
for our rights the situation will be more worse in future.
