  6. NC Quest, A project that Madu led recently is a good example fo that type of collaborative effort that integrated teaching, reserch, and service.
  7. Recently several faculty members from the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of Education and Human Performance where working on a staff development project. When the Surry County group where getting ready to make the presentations of the products they had developed in front of their new Superintendent. They felt pretty tense. Dr. Madu Ireh, one of the principal investigators, told wanted to give them an example about how happy he was with their work. He played this Youtube clip and the participant’s visibly relaxed. Their presentations were great. Madu reminded of an important lesson “Have fun”
  8. Reflect on what is important to you and the ones you love. Lay out some multi-year goals and objectives with the help of those who care about you. Develop a plan to achieve those objectives. Get feedback on the plan from those whose judgment you value. Work your plan.
