It’s the magic ingredient for cultivating ownership in our schools and communities and life-long supporters of our children’s education and children's welfare. 10 times more likely to support financially, budget cuts
Goal: Most parents participating throughout the year. Think of filling up a virtual passport with all kinds of opportunities to get involved through the year – what kinds of ATTRACTIONS can you, your principal and teacher design to cultivate more parent TOURISTS?? YOU ARE GUIDES (CONGRATS) !! We want to cultivate more!
Goal: Most parents participating throughout the year
Goal: AS MANY OPPORTUNITIES AS POSSIBLE. Most parents participating throughout the year. Weekend family opporutnies like school garden. On-line from home like updating the website, science moms, artist dads, native holidays and tradtions. Short-time frame and ongoing. Read to the class vs help as a literacy coach. Maybe need to adjust times to meet more parents’ schedules.
Goal is to be inclusive and connect with all kinds of families – who’s at your school that you can reach out to? DADS – Watch-Dogs
