Dear colleague, K.C College is organising an ICSSR and UGC sponsored National level Conference on ‘Rethinking Development: Emerging Issues and Contemporary Debates’, scheduled to be held at K.C College, Churchgate, Mumbai on 11th and 12th December, 2012. This conference will bring together academics, activists, writers, journalists and young research scholars from all over the country who will engage in an interdisciplinary interrogation of the development discourse in contemporary times. Praful Bidwai, independent Journalist, social activist and political analyst will deliver the keynote address. Other eminent speakers include Felix Padel, researcher and tribal rights activist and now Prof. Institute of Health Management, Jaipur, Mary John, CWDS, New Delhi and Prof Haragopal.
