known for fighting off the “bad guys,”

Little Blue Peep’s Sustainable Farm
Growing your own food can provide you with exercise as well as better nutrition! My peeps are
shown growing their own vegetables, harvest fresh eggs and apples and attempting to collect
honey. The peeps are concerned about their environment so they have installed solar panels
and use a rain barrel to collect the water they use in their gardens. - Kristin Blackwell, Staff

7. 1St place goes to Kristin Onos!
Peeps on Mendums Pond
Every summer my favorite place to go is
Mendums Pond. Entry is free to UNH
students, there are kayaks and canoe
rentals, docks to jump and swim from and
great picnic areas. There are always
sightings of the loon family that lives there
and it is also the home of the UNH Sailing
team. The peeps are taking full advantage
while maintaining healthy habits: using
protection from the sun with SPF 30,
sunglasses, a sun hat and shady spots;
exercising the body with swimming and
kayaking as well as exercising the mind with
a book; responsibly keeping tracking of the
kids as they enjoy playing; and lastly,
staying well hydrated with Poland Spring
water! - Kristin Onos, UNH Student

9. 4-H Peeps Growing in More
Ways than One!
The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension 4-H
Youth Development is a program for youth ages 5-18 that
focuses on developing healthy and successful youth. Similar
to other national youth development programs (such as Boy
Scouts), 4-H is a national organization that helps youth
become better citizens and healthier young adults with an
interest and talent in science.
The coolest part about 4-H (in my opinion) is that it is one of
the only youth organizations that utilizes the unique and
special relationship between youth and animals as a vessel
for developing healthy, amazing youth. I don’t believe that
there is much more out there than the special relationship
between children and animals!
I created this diorama because I believe in what 4-H has to
offer the youth of NH and I believe in UNH-CE and their
ability to bring this amazing program to NH youth! I am the 4-
H Animal and Agricultural Science Education Coordinator and
I am just completely excited about youth and animals!
This 4-H Club is made up of 8 members of all different ages.
Individual Entry Submitted by One of the members has a disability and others struggle in
traditional social environments but find that 4-H is accepting
and welcoming! The 4-H club learns about the science of
Rhiannon Beauregard, Staff Member chickens and eggs, what good nutrition is for their animals
(and themselves), about the importance of fresh water and
good food, and even are raising money to build a new chicken
coop for their animals by selling eggs to the community!
10. Good Times at Peep Beach!
The beach is always my go to for
a total wellness experience! With
a variety of physical activities
and soothing sounds for
relaxation, you just can’t beat
the beach. UNH is ideally
located to some beautiful
Beaches and I can’t wait for

11. Winners for the Group Category…
The group category means 2+ people worked on the diorama
12. 2nd place goes to….
Pumped Up Peeps!
Our group made our peeps shown working out
at the gym. This reflects our beliefs in how
choosing to exercise makes for a healthier and
happier you.
Our peeps are listening to music, strengthening
their abs, and lifting weights to take a break from
there busy day. When one peep is happy it
reflects onto the other peer peeps around you.
This entry was submitted by
Risa LePera, Abbey Crowther, Hieu
Nguyen and Celena Zucco, who are
UNH students in Occupational
Therapy 610.
They have won a private
yoga session for their class!
13. 1St place goes to…
Welcome to the Wellness Wheel
Our display features “The Wheel of
Wellness” to illustrate the various
aspects of health. Every aspect of
health is important – emotional,
physical, mental, sexual and
everything else!
We at SHARPP use our services to
try and help members of the UNH
Community be as healthy as
possible. The message being
portrayed: “Putting the yes, yes,
yes! Back in sex” is promoting safe,
healthy sexuality by encouraging
students to seek consent when
pursuing a sexual partner.
This entry was submitted by staff and students who work at the
Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program (SHARPP).
They have won a PIZZA PARTY for their department!
And we are sure they will invite Health Services!
15. Occupational Balance
Our diorama displays the importance of leading a balanced life. While it is crucial to
be attentive to school-related work, it is equally important to make time for friends
and fun!
Group Entry Submitted by:
Abbey Craig, Morgan Rice, Caroline Sennott, Kacie Connal, Sarah
Miller, UNH Students in Occupational Therapy 610
16. S-Hopping Healthy
They say “You are what you eat”
and these peeps are proving that
true! They are engaging in the
occupation of grocery shopping for
some snacks to keep in their dorm
room. The Fit and healthy peep is
shopping the outside of the store
and buying plenty of
fruits, veggies, and whole grain
snacks to keep up with his healthy
life-style! The Chubby and Fluffy
peep is shopping the inside of the
store and buying the less healthy
options of snacks that are high in
sugar, fat, salt, and calories.

17. Yo’ga to Have Balance!
Each individual needs to have
balance within their occupations
in order to be healthy and well.
Our group chose to do our peep
show about yoga because
although yoga literally depicts
the essence of balance in order
to do the exercise, it also portrays
how important it is to be stable
within one’s routine for healthy
well-being. It is essential to have
physical, emotional, cognitive
and spiritual aspects of life in
equilibrium with one another
through all occupations or else
things like stress and role strain
occur. The occupations and
activities of daily living that are
meaningful to each individual

18. Peeps Need Peeps
It’s important to have different relationships in your life to form individual and
social identities, create a sense of self worth, and for love and support. A park is
a communal space where many relationships can blossom.
