Couch-2-5K
An overweight, sedentary, and couch Peeptato our peep begins a transforming journey: destination health and wellness! Start by slowly
shedding fluff and trimming sugary coatings, next add activity and exercise, then train to run a 5K race; all mark achievable milestones. The
“Couch-2-5K” program starts by alternating walking and running small distances, slowly building endurance until running 5K non-stop is
achieved. Celebrations ensue after finishing the “Peeper” 5K in Barrington, NH!

Absolutely, Positively Self-Loving Peeps
“Sexual pleasure and orgasm is the source of life and creativity.” Betty Dodson,Artist, Author, and Sexologist, said this. For nearly three
decades, Betty has run bodysex groups where women learn about their bodies and their orgasms. She has empowering women to fully love
themselves, and has nurtured women into wholeness of body, mind, and spirit. Women, men, and transgender individuals have all gained from
knowing Betty and her important work on sexual liberation.

Enjoying Health Around the Triangle
Health covers many aspects of one’s life--mental, physical, and social well being. Each part of the triangle is equally important. On the physical side,
a peep is snowboarding, and there are peeps behind the triangle who are enjoying a jog through college woods. On the mental side, there is a peep
getting some rest, some reading in the library, and also a peep getting help at the Counseling Center. On the social side, peeps are dancing to music,
sharing a meal together, and building a snowman.

Get Up, Get Out, Get Well!
For me, wellness and health is all about staying active and enjoying the natural world. These peeps agree! Some go bird watching out in the trees,
some play frisbee with friends, have a picnic with their special peep, or do archery in the great outdoors.

Fun at Mount Peep
These peeps are having a blast hiking up Mt. Peep for some fun in the snow. Little birdie peep is having a good time on his sled, while others are
cheering on their friends as they take the plunge down Mt. Peep for some big mountain runs. The peeps are styling in full “onesie” outfits (with
built in helmets for safety of course). I have discovered a love for this sport, and the peeps agree that nothing feels better than the open air, a little
adrenaline, and making memories with friends.

Healthy Peeps and a Healthy Environment
It is important for peeps to take good care of themselves by leading a healthy lifestyle involving a well-balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies,
daily exercise, a good-night’s sleep and time spent outside. A healthy lifestyle, however, is not enough if the peeps do not live in a healthy world!
By recycling, utilizing the sun’s energy with solar panels, hang-drying clothes, and getting water from a well, these peeps are showing that they
care about their environment!

Healthier UNH Starts with Exercise
Exercise is a great way to occupy you time and provide meaning in your day! There are many free and fun ways to exercise around
the UNH campus such as taking a class at the gym, walking through college woods, playing basketball and going for walks around
campus! Some of the many benefits to exercise are meeting new people, improve your mood and self-esteem, learn new interests,
increase energy level and decrease risk of disease. Exercise is a great way to have a healthier UNH!

It’s a Jungle Out There…So Take Care
Hippos, Lions, and Crocs, OH MY! Peeps know how hectic the Jungle is with all those wild animals. They maintain their physical health by
hiking on Safari. By spending time with good friends and appreciating other living creatures they maintain their social, emotional and spiritual
health. Peeps stay environmentally and intellectually healthy by exploring and learning about nature (driving a veggie fueled jeep); &
financially through fun and free activities and occupationally with self reflection.

Doctor’s Visits & Annual Physical Exams
In this diorama created by OT 610 students, peeps are demonstrating the importance of doctor’s visits and
annual physical exams. Regular doctor’s visits, especially for children and as well as college students, promote
better health for the future. These check-ups highlight disease prevention and education about individual
health, so we can all strive towards a “Healthier America”.

Rowland · Contact person eMail address: christina.rowland@unh.edu· Contact person phone number: 862-3469 · Title of the diorama: Kripeeplu Yoga · Brief description of the diorama and how it depicts staying healthy: Kripeeplu Yoga is the Yoga of consciousness. Kripeeplu puts great emphasis on proper breath, alignment, coordination of breath and movement, and "honoring the wisdom of the peep." Peeps work according to the limits of their individual flexibility and strength. Using this form of yoga peeps create a harmonic relationship with breath and life, strength and flexibility, and live mindfully.

While the bunnies are busy lifting weights, running on the treadmill and doing push-ups, the chick seems a bit preoccupied with his reflection. Although it is great if your motivation is not pure vanity, the most important thing is that you make a plan to exercise and stick to it.
Hi Dawn!Sorry this is late - I dropped off the gardening peeps yesterday, but got caught up in school (gasp!) - hope this is still ok! Sorry I goofed on the whole submission thing - I got a lovely spring cold which has really knocked me backwards! Josephine Hingston, Graduate student (English M.S.T)802.558.5391 Title: How does your garden grow? /OR/ Grow your own health! Description: The best exercise is outside! Growing your own food keeps you active and in tune with nature and the systems of living things - plants, like people, need proper nutrition and nurturing environments. Planting, weeding, watering, and fertilizing generates experience in the long-term efforts involved in creating and maintaining a healthy garden and a healthy self - there are no quick fixes or magic pills: it is a gradual, daily effort with wonderful rewards! These peeps are careful to protect themselves from the sun, but are also getting their daily dose of sunny vitamin D. Gardening grows delicious fresh vegetables and fruits, beautiful flowers, healthy and strong muscles and minds, and companionship with living things. Feedback on the description would be great, as it reads a bit cheesy to me!Many thanks,Josie
Title: Saving the World One Peep at a Time The United States Peep Corp requires their Peeps to stay physically and mentally fit. U.S. Peeps, like civilian peeps, use physical activity as a way to stay physically fit and mentally ready to tackle any situation they encounter in everyday life. We also have a peep enjoying physical activity by jump roping.
