LDP and APIs Live information for a generation on the move The Local Discovery Platform (LDP) is a content aggregation and data management platform for data with a spatial component. Developed by mxData in order to solve many of the issues associated with content aggregation of geographically referenced (or local) content from multiple content providers: data aggregation data geocoding management of User Generated Content (UGC) high availability, hosted service The LDP API is a developer API for content search:  platform neutral, using common web standards used in a wide range of scenarios including third-party services and websites, mobile apps and web apps.  a REST-like interface and returns XML or JSON responses.  supports emerging web technologies (e.g. AJAX enabled websites and HTML5 web-apps) supports wrapping responses in a JavaScript callback.  supports access by multiple third-parties, providing fine-grained configuration on a per-partner basis
