She ensures that each presenter is well—prepared and able to effectively communicate and engage learners online. Karen hosts the online sessions, supports the presenters and participants during the sessions, and manages the use of Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional. Karen has been teaching people to use technology since 1991 when she taught Word Perfect and Microsoft Office products to 16 new learners every day. Karen became Director of Trainer Development for Ziff-Davis Education (now Element K) in 1995 and offered learner –focused train-the-trainer programs for trainers in corporate, higher education, military and public training centers. In 1998, Karen joined Corporate Learning Ltd., London, UK to lead trainer development programs in Europe and the UK. Karen began working with The eLearning Guild in 2003 Karen has helped individuals and teams of trainers earn Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) certifications.
