1. Casting<br />In order to achieve a successful media piece I wanted to find the perfect model who will match my theme of an ‘indie style’ cover. I took photos of four models and decided which the best to star on my magazine was. <br />Kate Kenny<br />The first model was Kate, she has a very natural look with the long red hair and the neutral makeup, however her style is very feminine and this is not what I am looking for as I wanted to find someone who fitted the brief. I think Kate would be perfect for a different style of magazine such as an R’n’ B cover. <br />Jenny Sutton<br />The next model jenny also has a very natural look about her with her pale skin and long blonde hair and girly style; I think jenny would be more suited a pop magazine as she does not look very indie compared to others. Therefore I did not decide to choose jenny in creating my media piece. <br />Victoria McColl <br />I really liked victorias style and over image when I took the photos, I think she would be in the top two to choose from between two of my model s. However after looking through all the models I did not think this style would work for my final construction piece. <br />Emilie Kane<br />Emilie was the last model I analysed. I really liked Emilie’s overall style and I believe it fits my brief perfectly her style such as the checked shirt and her short hair is just what I am looking for to create a different kind of magazine . Therefore I decided to cast Emilie to appear on my front cover and double page spread. <br />
