CAREER HISTORY
September 2005 – Current.
Regency Media – Senior Supervisor
Regency Media offers an end to end business solution for previous and exiting cliental including Fox
Studio Entertainment, Icon Entertainment, and Scooter Entertainment, including Manufacturing,
Warehousing, Distribution, Order Management and Credit Management. Non media clients include
Life Leadership, Jojoba, Living Social and Activision. As senior supervisor, I am responsible for
Regency Media’ is a NSW Warehouse and Distribution facility at Kings Park. The systems used to
deliver this service include: AX (host / order and credit management), RDS (Dexion Warehouse
Management System – RF / PTL / Paper pick), SYSPRO (Consumables order management), IFS
(Least cost Route Carrier Selection / Pick to Label), Australia Post and Toll lite.
Regency Media acquired Harper Collins, where I was currently employed in January 2010. I was
employed with Regency Media during this transition and promoted whilst employed with Regency
Media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting and liaising with the Distribution Manager on a daily basis
- Responsible for my own health and safety and other around me
- Return to Work Co-Ordinator
- Incident and Accident Reporting and Management
- Management representative for Workplace Health and Safety meetings
- Management of Inventory ranging from 3.5 to 5Million units
- Responsible for timely and accurate inbound transactions
- Management of returns, Pick to Light, Pick by RF and replenishment functions
- Ensuring that all goods were prepared for correct despatch,and despatched In Full, on time.

January 2004 – September 2005
MacMillan Print – Receiving Team Leader
MacMillan Print was a 3,000 square meter Warehouse and Distribution Facility based in Granville,
NSW, providing 3PL service for clients such as Telstra and Peppers Resort motels. The number of
staff ranged from 10 to 30. MacMillan Print was a paper based company, with a KPI of turn around
within 24 hours, and same day where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking in of deliveries
- Safe and timely unloading of all deliveries
- Accurate checking in of Goods against packing slips and delivery dockets
- Proof of Deliveries
- Chep/Loscam Pallet documentation
- Break down of goods ready for put away to pick and bulk location.
- Wrap / Secure pallets for storage
- Assist in other areas of warehousing when required (EG Pick and Pack)
- Relieve Team Leaders in other departments when required (Eg Despatch)
December 2003 – 2004.
State Warehousing and Distribution Services – Returns Team Leader
State Warehousing and Distribution Services (SWADS) was a 26,000 square meter 3PL
Warehouse and Distribution facility based at Wetherill Park utalising a purpose built system – Berger.
SWADS clients included Greys Clothing, Coleman Camping and BBQ’s,Thompson books, McGraw
Books, Tri star DVD and Targus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocating staff levels to achieve targets
- Accurate and efficient processing of returns
- Training of staff
- Scheduling CasualRequirements
- Assessing returns and allocating to return to stock if in mint condition
- Marking stock for destruction if not saleable
- Organising collection and destruction of damaged goods
1977 to 2003.
Faulding Healthcare – Pick and Pack, Despatch Team Leader, Receiving Team Leader,
Receiving Supervisor, Picking Supervisor, Senior Supervisor
Faulding healthcare built one of the largest distribution centres for pharmaceutical distribution in
Australia in Rydalmere NSW, measuring at 70,000 square meters. Staff requirements ranged between
60 to 100 staff.
Faulding healthcare were the innovators of pharmaceutical picking through a new German technology
to Australia call data mobile picking, using Orion Computer Warehouse Managing System. Picking
was conducted on a machine similar to a forklift that travelled on tracks within the aisles. The picker
was able to pick multiple orders at the same time. This system enabled Pick to Light into totes that
were on scales. This enabled the system to identify and alert any incorrect picks through weight
discrepancies.
My employment with SWADS commenced with Picking and Packing, where I was then promoted to
despatch team leader, followed by Receiving Team Leader. It was after this experience that I was
then promoted to receiving supervisor. I transitioned to Picking Supervisor and promoted to Senior
Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate picking and packing of orders.
- Prioritise and allocate orders for picking / packing
- Ensuring all orders were sorted by route and despatched on time
- Packing/stacking orders according to any specific client or carrier requirements
- Receipt of all goods within company SLA’s of available for sale in 4 hours
- Identify and advise of any damages or incorrect deliveries
- Training of staff for roles and OH&S requirements
- Allocation of staff to meet work requirements
- Direct reports consisting of 2 supervisors and a team of 12 permanents plus casuals as
