3. Water indispensable Everybody needs water because our body is composed of aproximatly 65% of water. Without water, there is no life.

4. Fields Water is necessary to agriculture, which means for food as well! But, there is already not enough water for the population, so there is not enough water for agriculture.

5. Sewers in Cotonou The system of waste water treatment is failing, the used water is not recycled.

6. Why is it serious ? Water in rivers is polluted by farmers, and is used as a garbage for the inhabitants of the country, who throw everything in it.

7. Water pollution Even when they have clean water, the inhabitants carry it in old used buckets which pollute the water.

8. Poverty doesn’t help The poverty of the country doesn’t help inhabitants to keep water clean, they can’t purify water.

9. Solution: Wells In small villages, the cheapest me ans to have clean water is to take it from groundwaters .

10. Water needs money Benin is a poor country. To help, rich countries should make donations, or help the country evolve.
