I am a certified Secondary
Education Math Teacher
transitioning out of education
into Actuarial Science. This
challenging career path
promises to keep me
intellectually stimulate through
a series of exams which I am
eager to conquer. My drive to
learn actuarial mathematics will
enable me to pass future
actuarial exams and public
speaking experience will excel
through the actuarial pipeline.
I started this transition by taking
probability and statistics
courses at Nassau Community
College. Then attended
University at Albany, enrolled in
their Actuarial Science program,
where I took all course work
relevant for Exams P, FM, MFE,
MLC, and C. During which time,
I passed Exam P with a score of
8. Currently I am preparing for
Exam FM.
