Describe your thoughts about the experience of being a “teen parent” with the Reality Baby. Identify the three
ways the Reality Baby and/or the Child Growth and Development class has influenced your decision to become
a parent.
When I took the baby home it was a lot of work to take care of the baby. It influenced me not to get pregnant at
a young age because you have to buy all of the stuff of baby. When you have a child you need to buy a lot of
things like diapers and bottles. You need a lot of formula for a baby. The baby was a lot of responsibly to take
care of the baby you need to get up with it and take care of it when the baby was crying a lot. I will wait in till I
am older because I need a job to support raising a baby. The baby will suffer if you don’t have the right things
for the baby. When you become a parent you need to grow up with the baby as you age. Your parents might not
support you and you will have to find a place to live to take care of the baby by yourself. It will cost a lot of
money to buy your own apartment and buy all the things for your baby. It will cost a lot of money to take care
of your child. So conclusion, it will cost a lot of money, I may not have a place to live, and I may not have job. I
will wait to have a baby.
