I AM MAJORING IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
I AM A VERY POSITIVE, CREATIVE, AND FOCUSED PERSON
2. Favorite class assignments
My first favorite assignment was the service learning project. It was fun
getting to interact with animals at the shelter. Plus it felt good to be able
to give back to the community. Plus I got my kitten Duchess from this
project as a result.
My second was the scavenger hunt. It was fun exploring the campus and
meeting people. It also helped me learning were everything was. It also
help me know what each place did as well.
My last favorite was the journals. They helped show me different aspects of
myself. They also help guide me on how to better develop certain aspects
on myself. The journal assignments were something I feel like I really
needed.
3. My favorite journals
Journal 1 was my favorite. The self-assessment really help break down my
strengths and weaknesses. In a way it was kind of a guide to what I needed
to work on this semester. It was really eye opening.
Journal 33 was my second favorite. It was really satisfying seeing the
results of all the hard work that I had put into myself. See the progress felt
awesome. It also showed me were I can keep working on which I plan to
keep doing in the future.
Journal 13 is my third favorite. This really broke down my day. By digging
in deep it showed me where all my waisted time was going. Doing this
entry really made it easier to fix a lot of problems I was having with myself
and my time management.
4. My favorite module
Module 2 was my favorite out of them all. Even thought there was a lot in
this module because of this being a minimester, it was till my favorite. It
taught me about how the brain learned and the conversations with you
inner guide. It also taught me about self management, which at the time
was a life saver. It help me manage my time for my job, school, kids, and
wife.

Learning Frameworks
Letter to the Next Class
After finishing high school in Sherman, I had always made excuses for myself. I was unmotivated and kept
making excuses about why I couldn’t attend college. But not just college though, I made excuses for everything. I
told myself a lot that I couldn’t do this or that, or that I wasn’t good enough for this. So, I got a dead-end job and
worked until I came into management. Even in management it was still a dead-end job. I was miserable. Looking
back at myself now, I would have told myself to get into gear and go to college when I got out of high school. By
making excuses for myself and putting college off for so long I had waisted so much time. I have been out of
school for three to four years now. I could have almost been done with college by now and had a degree. Plus, if I
were to have gone to college sooner, then school would have been easier than it is now on me.
Learning Frameworks has taught me a lot about myself. It has shown me how I converse with myself.
Meaning, how I interact with my inner critic, inner defender, and inner guide. By identifying these three I can sort
myself out easier. When I was younger I noticed that I listened to my inner critic, and defender way too much. I
was always making excuses, putting the blame on others and never was motivated. Now I know to listen to my
inner guide. By knowing which one to listen to will help me stay on track and focused in my future.
Learning Frameworks is a lot different then what I thought it would be. I thought when I enrolled in it that it
was just a study habits class. Yes, there were aspects about it that can help with studying but primarily I notice it
had a lot more to do with how I manage and interact with myself and others. So, in a way you could say it is a self-
awareness class. My advice to someone about to take this class is, that you will learn your strengths and
weaknesses. If you think you already know them, then this class with teach you to learn more about them and
8. Highlights
Learning frame works has taught how to stop making excuses for
everything. It has also taught me how to develop myself into a better
person.
Learning frame works has shown me my strengths and weaknesses and
how to work on both. It has taught me about my inner guide.
There is a lot more to learning frameworks than people think because
there is always things you can learn about yourself.
9. Where I plan to be
I plan to be with my family living somewhere in north Texas in a home that
I will own. I plan to own another car before I graduate, one with plenty of
room for me and my family. My house would be a four to five bedroom
house. A room for both of my children and me and my wife, and a home
office room where I will be able to work on own projects.
10. What I want to do
When I graduate college with a computer science degree I plan to either
start my own company out of college or work for a major company until I
get enough experience to start my own company developing my own
games and software. If I changed my mind and decided to stick it out with
a major company after several years I would eventually plan to become I
lead developer of my own project and eventually be able to make the
games that I have always dreamed about cense I was a kid. I just have to
survive college first.
