TRANSFER JET COUPLER
• It is based on electric induction field as it opposes
radiation field..
• It generates longitudinal electric field.
• Hence there is no polarisation and device align at
angle .
• Inductive power dissipation.
FIELD STRENGTH
• Far field strength =1/ range
• Near field strength=1/(range)^2
• Far Field->radiates power
• Near field->there is no radiation of power , stores
power.
•Two devices have chip embedded
inside.
•It uses electric induction field as a
medium.
• Vertically vibrating between the two
coupler
•It loses power in 4.5 ghz bandwidth.
Types of modes
• Stationary devices --initiator mode
• Mobile device --responder mode
• Minimize the distance.
• There is no risk of un authorized.
• Minimize the data leakage.

• It is possible to charge the battery of the camera just by
placing on the cradle
• And if the camera placed on the cradle with its power on, it
is possible to transmit pictures and movies to a personal
computer by using transfer jet while charging the battery.

• Not require external ROM or oscillator
• This IC is embedded in a substrate using Murata’s component
