2. • Introduction
• Need for Transfer JET
• Transfer JET coupler
• Transfer layer
• Sequence communication
• Working principle
• Transfer jetVs. Bluetooth
• Transfer JET camera
• TOSHIBA(TC35420)
• Features
• Applications
• Conclusion
3. • Bringing close together two devices.
• Point to point communication
5. TRANSFER JET COUPLER
• It is based on electric induction field as it opposes
radiation field..
• It generates longitudinal electric field.
• Hence there is no polarisation and device align at
angle .
• Inductive power dissipation.
6. FIELD STRENGTH
• Far field strength =1/ range
• Near field strength=1/(range)^2
• Far Field->radiates power
• Near field->there is no radiation of power , stores
power.
7. •Two devices have chip embedded
inside.
•It uses electric induction field as a
medium.
• Vertically vibrating between the two
coupler
•It loses power in 4.5 ghz bandwidth.
8. Types of modes
• Stationary devices --initiator mode
• Mobile device --responder mode
9. • Minimize the distance.
• There is no risk of un authorized.
• Minimize the data leakage.
• Power dissipation.
10. • It is possible to charge the battery of the camera just by
placing on the cradle
• And if the camera placed on the cradle with its power on, it
is possible to transmit pictures and movies to a personal
computer by using transfer jet while charging the battery.
11. • Transfer jet made up of some biggest name in
technology calledToshiba
• Not require external ROM or oscillator
• This IC is embedded in a substrate using Murata’s component
Embedding technologies enabling the realisation of industries
smallest dimension
• This implements transfer jet functions with wireless, digital signal
processing , host – interface and memory interface function in a
single chip using RF – CMOS process .
12. • Safe & Flexible
• One chip transceiver
• Built in RF parts , RF switch , matching circuits and LNA (low
noise amplifier)
• Very high speed host interface
• Low power consumption
• Single power supply
• Compact and low profile package
13. • Printing photos: photos can be printed by touching the printing
device
• Saving videos: data can be saved by touching the device in which data
is to be saved.
• Getting information:
information can be obtained by touching the device.
14.
15. • Transfer jet is a technology,
still in the works by Sony
and few other Japanese
firms
• It has a data throughput of
375 Mbps which is higher
than the Bluetooth and or
even NFC.
