AC/DC is a hard rock band formed in 1973 in Sydney, Australia by Scottish brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. They are known for their high energy live shows and Angus Young's schoolboy outfit. Some of their most popular albums include Back in Black (1980), which featured new lead singer Brian Johnson after the death of original singer Bon Scott, and The Razors Edge (1990) which helped renew their popularity. AC/DC continues to tour and record into the 2000s and 2010s with their classic lineup of Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd.

3. The first concert was performed the last night of 1973, coinciding with the launch of her single Can I Sit Next To You Girl, whose vocalist was Dave Evans.

George was the first to learn to play guitar. He started in the group The Easy beats, successful Australian band in the 1960's. In 1969, he became the first local rock band to have international success with the song "Friday on my mind”. Malcolm then decided to follow in the foot steps of George, playing in the Welsh band named The Velvet Underground (not to beconfused with the velvet underground New York band).
