essential in achieving Alan’s goal.
Which email marketing provider
works?
6. MailChimp Constant Contact
Pricing
MailChimp at 200k subscribers, which is
what Alan’s is targeting will be more
cheaper than Constant Contact. Constant
Contact has 150,000-200,000 subscribers
at 895.00/month

Analytics and Reporting
11. MailChimp
• Segment by date, engagement level, geography, product purchase.
• Allows you to send special product announcements to anyone. Perfect for promotions.
• Segments specific customers into categories. This would be great for Alan’s due to them segmenting the brides into a
category based on month of wedding and year.
Constant Contact
• Allows you to create tags for individuals so more personalized emails can be sent
• Alan’s can integrate these tags in order to send special emails to its VIP members respectfully
• Segment email list by gender, location, purchase behavior, and email frequency
Segmentation
12. • After a considerable amount of research, I personally believe that
MailChimp is the better option out of the email service. They have an
easy to use interface and better reporting of analytics in order to fully
target the right audience of its emails. MailChimp is also fairly cheaper
too which makes it the true complete package. In addition, MailChimp is
a playful, humorous, friendly company to work with. It just reminds us
that all business and marketing should be a truly enjoyable experience
for the end user.
