3. Naba design In Naba Design you can learn different things from that which is learnt (and taught) in other design schools. Different things. But what and how?
4. What is design (and what is design in Naba)? To design means finding solutions, and understanding how to resolve a problem with respect to a given set of constraints. This is the craft of a designer.
5. What is design (and what is design in Naba)? What is design a Solve problems in unexpected ways, turning various constraints (economic, temporal, cultural, social) into resource. Resulting in useful, intelligent and beautiful objects (physical and digital, tangible and intangible…)
6. What is a designer? Let's say that design, first and foremost, is about telling stories. Interesting, fascinating, and engaging stories. Of course, to tell stories we need to know the tricks of the trade, how it's done.
7. What is a designer? From this point of view there is no separation between conceptual and practical activities: a director tells his stories with the medium of a film, the writer using the medium of the novel. A designer uses objects, spaces, services .
8. A designer can be understood as a narrator. A narrator of other possible worlds. What is a designer?
9. Educational methodology (learn by doing) Design in Naba is understood through social skills, the ability to collaborate with others, to try and imagine the world in a radically different way. Students learn the so-called "soft skills" (ie, those skills that the job market demands in any industry, scope, or period).
10. Educational methodology (learn by doing) Key concepts of the teaching methodology in naba design - Learn to communicate with others - Learning by doing (practice again and again) - I workshop therefore I am (importance of intensive workshops) - The importance of process. 15. Design and work Important Notice! Becoming a good designer means embarking on a journey that lasts decades. An initial three-year period of study, travels and trips abroad. Several internships in order to understand how things work in the workplace, followed by specialised studies (Biennio, Master) Design lives on passion, and requires enormous energy. It is not to to fill up a curriculum as soon as possible and find a job any day after you finish studying... , Se
