Agents
General Summary:
Call center agents will be taking incoming calls that will have questions on programs they are participating
in. The candidate will need to have a strong phone presence and be able to resolve issues without
escalating the problem by asking probing questions. The candidate will be entering notes into the
company’s database and needs to be able to navigate the computer system to locate spreadsheets and
phone scripts as needed. The shift will be anywhere between 8:00 am -8:00 pm. Typical hours are
between 35-40/week, but during slow periods may be less. Some overtime may be required during peak
demand. Pay is $11.00/hour. This is a contract to direct hire position, but there is not a set time period for
someone to go direct at this time. Job is located in Highland Park, MI. Interviews with employer to follow
recruitment event. Must be dressed for interview to qualify.
Responsibilities:
Take incoming calls and answer questions regarding customer submissions
Ask probing questions to resolve issues
Be able to use company’s computer systems to enter and retrieve data
Help callers with outside website credits
Qualifications:
Must have positive attitude and disposition
Strong communication skills, good grammar
Read and follow written instructions with little guidance
Computer savvy - typing skills of 50 wpm required
