Good morning ladies and gentlemen
Before we start, let’s say thank you to Allah SWT for blessing and giving
us health and mercy so we can be here in this peace and calm atmosphere.
Also thank you to Mr. Ajar our English teacher for giving this opportunity and
also my friends in this class.
In this occasion I would like to share you about “Solution of Improving
Public Health”. Health is a condition which is the body has a good condition to
do activity normally and safely. Of course, health is the most important factor
in our life. Why? Because, when we were healthy we can do whatever we want
such as thinking, playing, working, studying, cooking and another else. Health
is not only about physic, but also physiologic. Health in physiologic can be
improved by positive thinking and close to God individually. Then health in
physic can be improved by doing a health lifestyle.
Nowadays, healthy lifestyle is a common health problem in our
community. Seem like people do not pay attention about healthy lifestyle. They
just do whatever they want to do without think about their health. The main
part of healthy lifestyle is diet or daily consumption. To make a healthy lifestyle
we have to arrange diet first. Thereis difference diet for each other person.
Based on Health Department of Indonesia, amount of diet is grouped by
gender, age, and activity. For adult man with normal activity has diet about
2000kkal per day. To equalize people daily consumption can be controlled by
diet program.
3. Diet program is important to do,remembering many persons have a
health problem caused by wrong diet. Diet program is started by count amount
of daily consumption that we need and arrange it into a good combination
based on percentage of carbohydrate, fat, protein, vitamin and mineral.
Percentage of carbohydrate is 45%, fat 40% and protein 15% of consumption.
Then vitamin and mineral are consumed as a lot as we can but no need to
consume much, because it would be excreted automatically from our body.
In diet program we have to pay attention to activity more. Activity should
be useful in a right time and place. For example, study and prepare for next
meeting at afternoon not at midnight. Actually, diet program is the simplest
way to improve public health. Because, in this program do not need high cost
or expensive property, we just need to do this program routinely.
This kind of program is not only to control daily consumption, but also to
improve public health in physically and physiologically. As straight as a slogan
“Mens Sana InCorpore Sano” that means in healthy body there is healthy soul. So,
let us do a diet program to improve our health and make our soul healthy also.
