An easy onboarding guide to set up on ZenPayroll.

1. EASY ONBOARDING CHECKLIST
1. Tax & Corporate Related Documents
Form 941 or 944 from 2014 (any quarter works,
but Q4 is preferable).
State quarterly report with your Company ID.
It will either be a state withholding report or
unemployment report. Check our help center
for any questions.
2. Banking Information
Routing & Account Number (You can get this from
a voided check or bank specification sheet).
3. Payroll Administrator
Primary contact full name.
Primary contact email address.
Pay frequency schedule (e.g., weekly, semi-monthly,
bi-weekly, month. See here for the pros & cons of
each pay schedule).
The first pay period start & end date and check date.
4. Employee Information
2014 active employee form W-4s and I9s.
Pay stubs with a check date processed in 2015 (if any).
Last pay stub for each employee with a 2014 check date.
Employee onboarding: You can onboard your employees,
or thanks to our unique feature, your employees can
onboard themselves. All we need is the employee’s
email address.
