Infantry in the code trenches

My experience ranges from the typical relational database applications to audio and video processing and synthesis. Passing through many graph traversing applications, like in the semantic web (this one touches my philosophical vein), network problems, peer-to-peer applications, from an applied point of view, but also touching some theory. I am also interested in 3D game physics, collision, fluid dynamics, soft body, and a little about lighting and shadowing. Usually I am much more interested in developing using open-source libraries, if possible, based on Linux, even if cross-compiling for other systems.
