aim is to change the learners mindset
about drugs and

make an attempt to decrease the drug
abuse rate in schools as well as the
community therefore at large.

stakeholders involved in the campaign
are namely:
Learners
Teachers
Parents
Principals
School governing body
Community members and social workers
What are the responsibilities of each
stakeholder? In order to promote the
awareness of drug abuse.
6. How
will the issue be taken up?
Educating learners about drug abuse
Workshops that inform learners about drug
abuse including: social workers, counsellors,
rehabilitation centres for those whom are
depended on drugs.
Alternatives
Community members such as the police
officers will be required to do weekly drug
raids around the school.
7. What
you will be doing?
Educating learners about the prevention of
drug abuse by: drama, poetry, role plays,
dialogue and classroom activities.
When will you be doing it ?
At the beginning of the schooling year.
Who will be doing it?
The Life-Orientation teachers.
How will they do it?
Included in the video and activity conducted
by learners and teachers.
