What did you learn about that?
Well, for one thing, we need to clean our gutters before winter arrives.
We plan to do that this weekend.
Good for you, but what about your downspouts? You need to make
sure that they are in good working order, too.
Right. At the moment they are pointing down. Not good, eh?
No. They should be pointing away from the house, so that rain water
doesn’t collect near the base of your home.
That makes sense. So, was this seminar only about getting your
house ready for winter?
No, it also covered winterizing your car and family!

This is very common. I can tell you what I learned about the best way to
avoid this.
